56, CEO of Terres d’Aventure. Other than his love of travel, there was nothing to suggest that Lionel Habasque would enter the world of tourism. An applied mathematician and actuary, he began his career as an investment fund manager, before running financial information company Fininfo for 12 years. In 1996, he and four friends decided to acquire Voyageurs du Monde. He took command of Terres d’Aventure in 2001. Lionel Habasque loves to take on a challenge. He has completed the Marathon des Sables and the Greenland Marathon and has climbed Lenin Peak.
