John All, JD, PhD, is the author of Icefall: Adventures at the Wild Edges of our Changing, Dangerous Planet. John is the Director of the Mountain Environments Research Institute and the American Climber Science Program. His work is broadly focused on remote environments where changing climate has the most profound consequences. He has led expeditions on five continents – from deep caves to tropical rain forests; remote deserts to the world’s great mountain ranges and has summited Mt. Everest.
